The National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes, NANP, has declared support for the candidature of Bukola Saraki ahead of the 2019 presidential election. The association, therefore, called on all Nigerians to back the President of Nigerian Senate to ensure his emergence in 2019. This development came barely 24 hours after Saraki declared his intention to run for the office of the president in 2019. Roughly 50 days after the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament was concluded, FIFA has reckoned that the Russia hosted mundial was a successful phenomena football fiesta. FIFA President, Gianni Infantino on Thursday wrote a letter to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) stating that the success of the 21st FIFA World Cup could not be distanced from Nigeria’s participation in the June-July mundial. Lai Mohammed, minister of information and culture, says the country is fast becoming a destination for tourists because of the favourable policies of the Muhammadu Buhari administration. A young man has raised alarm after allegedly receiving death threats from a policemam he drugged for trying to extort him. The young man claims that the policeman stopped him, searched through his phone and, after he saw his account balance, tried to extort 150,000 Naira from him. Suspected fraudster abducts Facebook female friend • He touched me and I lost my senses – Victim Samson Folarin A 26-year-old suspected Internet fraudster, Jide Ajayi, has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly abducting a 14-year-old pupil, identified only as Miracle. The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), has warned importers of school uniform materials into Nigeria about some cancer-causing substances found in some school uniform materials made by two China based companies. A statement issued by the Director-General of SON, Mr Osita Aboloma on Friday in Abuja, named the companies producing the materials as Sing Shun Fat School-Clothier Company and Zenith Uniform Company. Aboloma said that the azo dyes found in some school uniforms in Hong Kong contained up to 173 milligrams and 41 milligrams per kilogram of the tested samples respectively. A London man who was arrested in a plot to kill United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May is set for sentencing on Friday, August 31.  Naa'imur Zakariyah Rahman, 21, who was arrested in November 2017, was found guilty of planning to commit acts of terrorism in Britain in July 2018. According to Sky News, Rahman was arrested after collecting dummy explosives from an undercover Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) agent who he had contacted him online pretending to be a terror agent.  The accused had planned to bomb the Prime Minister's office gate at 10 Downing Street, kill the security officers and attack May with a knife or a gun with intent to end her life.
